Getting Started as a Brand

Thank you for your interest in getting started with Green Gamut as a brand. Below are the steps for you to get started to set up your vendor account and creating your listings.

1. Create Your Brand Account

To get started on Green Gamut you will need to create a brand account. You can register your brand by using the link below.

You will be required to fill out some basic details about your business to get started.

2. Searching for Product Inspection Companies and Sourcing Agents

There are many ways you can search for a product inspection company or a sourcing agent. The main way is to use our search bar from the homepage or the listing search page. From this toolbar you can narrow down your selection by searching for inspection companies or sourcing agents; keywords, companies, categories; or by geographical location. The geographical location would normally be in close proximity to your factory.

Another way you can perform a search is by selecting your category from our main menu. This option will show all results based on the company type shown in the search bar

The search results will bring up a list of companies so you can review their information and details about their business so you can make an informed decision.

3. Booking a Product Inspection or Contacting a Sourcing Agent, Freight Forwarder, or Warehouse

You can book a product inspection through the inspection companies listing page. If the company has a bookable product set up then you will see a Book Now button which will bring you to their product and scheduling page to schedule the inspection. If they have not set up a bookable product you’ll need to send the company an inquiry by using the “Contact the Company” button.

After Your Inspection is Completed

After your inspection is performed the inspector will email you a copy of the inspection report. The inspector does not make a determination as to whether to allow your product to ship or not. It is up to you to communicate with your factory on how to proceed with the order. Some common practices resulting from inspection are:

  1. Order approval for the factory to ship the order.
  2. An elevated level of defects or errors in packaging or production where the factory should go through and replace those items prior to shipment.
  3. Order is rejected based on a high level of defects and you decide whether order should be cancelled or remade.

A product inspection is a tool for you to use so you can handle your order appropriately with the factory. Each case is unique and would be handled differently based on the circumstances of the product and the order.

How to Contact a Sourcing Agent, Freight Forwarder, or Warehouse

Contacting a sourcing agent, freight forwarder, or warehouse is much different than booking an inspection.

You can contact these companies through their listing page when you search for a sourcing agent, freight forwarder, or warehouse. To make contact with these companies you can click the Contact the Company button on their listing page. You will be directed to a form directly on their listing page.

You can contact as many companies as you want and make an inquiry. After the form is submitted all communication is done through email and off of the Green Gamut website.
